Update on new Brackenhurst Library development – opening this Summer!
You probably already know that work is underway on a fantastic new library for Brackenhurst, which will open in the Summer this year. Building work is progressing well despite the cold and wet weather, and we're looking forward to sharing the new library with you!
What can you expect from your new Brackenhurst Library?
- Open 24/7
- Plenty of soft seating and a social space
- 172 study spaces, including 84 PCs and 20 laptops for loan
- 2 group study rooms, and 2 silent study rooms
- Open space for collaborative and individual study
- Built to the highest green standards, and heated by a new biomass boiler which will be partly fuelled by waste from around the campus.
