Henry Clark
Co-opted Member of the Audit and Risk Management Committee

Henry Clark has spent his entire career in the accountancy profession, specialising in the external audit of national and multinational companies.

He undertook his professional training in London and at Edinburgh University, qualifying as a member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Scotland in 1970.

He has worked throughout his professional career at Ernst & Young and its predecessor firms. Ten years working in London were followed by two years in New York. He moved to work in Nottingham on becoming a partner in 1980 and became Managing Partner of the firm’s Nottingham office in 1985. He retired from Ernst & Young in 2002.

Henry is married with two grown-up children and lives in the Vale of Belvoir. He is interested in foreign travel, history and gardening.
