Kevin Hogarth
Member of the Board of Governors

Kevin is Global HR Director for the leading international law firm Freshfields Bruckhaus Deringer LLP. In this role Kevin has responsibility for leading the HR team and developing and implementing the global HR strategy.

Kevin has over 25 years HR experience. He previously worked for Capital One Bank as Managing Vice President for HR, leading the HR, internal communications and Corporate Real Estate teams. Prior to that, he held various senior HR positions with Ernst & Young, Abbey National plc, National and Provincial Building Society and started his career with The Boots Company plc.

A graduate of the University of York, where he studied Politics, Kevin is a Chartered Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Personnel and Development having studied for his professional qualification at Nottingham Trent University. He is Chair of the HR Committee for Scope, the leading disability charity.

Kevin joined the Board of Governors at Nottingham Trent University in January 2008. He is Chair of the University’s Remuneration and Employment Policy Committee and a member of the Membership Nominations and Audit and Risk Management Committees.
