Mike Walmsley
Member of the Board of Governors and NTU Board Representative on the Board of Trustees of NTU Students' Union

Mike Walmsley graduated with a BSc (Div.1) from Manchester University and has a business management degree from Harvard Business School.

He spent a good proportion of his working life in the Paper, Packaging, and Printing Industries, and held Executive Main Board positions in the UK with J Bibby and Sons plc, St Regis Paper and Polestar, and with Nampak Ltd, Peters Papers Ltd, and Premier Paper Ltd in South Africa.

Mike has also held Executive positions in the laboratory equipment and laser optic industries and held Non-Executive Director positions in a number of sectors including Financial Services with Millfield plc.

He retired from full-time employment as a Main Board Director of Polestar (the largest Printer in the UK) in 2005.
