Roger Freeston
Member of the Board of Governors

Roger Freeston was born and educated in Nottingham and studied at Nottingham Trent University. He qualified as a chartered surveyor in 1968 and became a Fellow of the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors in 1977. In 1994 he became Director of Savills International Property Consultants and now works as a consultant for the company.

Roger currently deals with town planning and property development related transactions on behalf of both public and private sector clients throughout the East Midlands.

In 1970 he received a Nottingham Roosevelt Memorial Scholarship and studied the provision of low-cost housing in the USA.

Roger is the Chairman of the Nottingham University Hospital Organ Donor Committee.

He is a member of the Tax Chamber and the First Tier Tribunal of the Department of Justice.

Roger is also a trustee of Nottingham City Parish and a Churchwarden at St Marys, Nottingham City Centre.
