Clifton campus
- Part of NTU’s student accommodation, College Drive houses are handily located on the Clifton campus.
- The Observatory includes a seven by five metre control room and a five metre diameter dome building equipped with a fully computer controlled 20 inch modified Newtonian telescope.
- The Erasmus Darwin Science building, which includes a variety of state of the art science equipment, including a British Olympic Association approved environmental chamber.
- The Sports hall is a modern space where indoor sports such as five-a-side football, badminton and basketball are played. Sports clubs and society information is provided in the entrance hall.
- The CELS/NSRC Buidling was officially opened in April 2007 and is one of only half a dozen Centres of Teaching Excellence in the country with a science theme.
- The Toyota Lexus training Centre is a dedicated facility that provides technician, specialist and management training and education principally for associated Toyota Lexus personnel.
- One of three major libraries at Nottingham Trent University, available for all students to use, but focused around the subjects taught on this campus.
- The John Clare Lecture Theatre has hosted talks from the likes of former Foreign secretary Robin Cook. Named after the eighteenth century English poet from Northampton.
- Ada Byron King is home to the School of Education, this building was designed and built to provide appropriate accommodation to train primary and secondary school teachers.
- The Computing and Informatics Building is an £8 million purpose designed building for computing and technology students in the School of Science and Technology.
- The on campus bookshop covers all the reading lists for all the subjects taught on site, with a second hand section too.
- Nottingham Language Centre teaches a variety of foreign languages and is a member of the British Council and English UK.
- George Eliot is home to English, Media and Communications, Linguistics, Languages (French, German, Italian, Spanish, Mandarin Chinese and TESOL) and International Relations.
- Café Eliot is a swanky new cafeteria on campus serving a range of meals, snacks and refreshments.
- The Main hall at Clifton is used for seminars and conferences.
- A Health Centre is available for regular health check-ups and in case you get ill and need to see a doctor on campus.
- Lionel Robbins building partly houses the School of Education, many of our joint honours and education-related courses are taught in here.
- The Benenson building is home to a range of facilities for students such as the Employment Store, the Student Advice Centre and the offices for Platform (the student newspaper).
- The DH Lawrence building contains a range of useful facilities for students including Union Central, the campus supermarket and a HSBC cash machine.
- Griffin House is home to the History and heritage department, which is part of the School of Arts and Humanities.
- Laura Knight is used by students and houses a resource room, reading room and music rooms.

- Peverall Hall of Residence has 720 en-suite rooms. There are six rooms to each flat with a communal kitchen area and laundry facilities and common rooms on site.
- The University is heavily involved in sport and Wednesday afternoons are normally kept free of lectures so students can take part in sports activities such as cricket.
- The Interdisciplinary Biomedical Research Centre supports the School of Science and Technology’s extensive biomedical research. The centre houses laboratories to, together with office space dedicated to research workers and research students.
