Erasmus and Study abroad

Nottingham Trent University has over 200 partners located in 35 countries. Our exchange programmes give students the opportunity to gain valuable international experience as part of their degree. This can be a funded study or work placement in Europe through Erasmus, or with one of our many study abroad partners, located worldwide. We also have a number of joint/dual degree programmes which offer not only an international experience but an opportunity to gain an award from more than one university whilst not adding additional time to your degree studies.

Erasmus
Erasmus is the EU’s flagship education and training programme and this year it celebrates its 25th anniversary. Each year more than 230,000 students study abroad or take part in placements in enterprises funded by Erasmus, giving them a unique opportunity to live and work abroad. Erasmus also offers opportunities for staff mobility and promotes transnational cooperation projects amongst universities and enterprises. Nottingham Trent University holds an EU Extended Charter which enables us to take part in all aspects of the programme.

Study abroad
Study abroad offers students the opportunity to study or work outside of Europe. Funding is not currently available but studying or working outside the UK offers a unique opportunity to immerse yourself in a new culture, learn a new language, and make new friends and valuable contacts for your future career. We currently have 30 University partners in 10 countries so have a look at our partners page and see where they are located and which ones offer courses in your chosen area.
