Ross Weatherburn
BArch (Hons) Architecture

Why did you decide to study Architecture?
I find the creation of our built environment inspiring.  To play a part in this would mark an enjoyable career.

What project are you working on now?
I am going to be working with the Dolphin Square Trust over the course of the summer.  As a London residential lettings facility, my work will centre on the addition of a private spa.

What are your thoughts on the University so far?
A very large and upcoming university.  NTU has undergone a £90million redevelopment of the two main City campus buildings and the investment definitely shows.  The facilities within the Newton and Arkwright buildings are second-to-none. Contemporary design combined with open plan efficiency makes it a welcome learning environment.  I have thoroughly enjoyed my first year at NTU and would recommend it to anybody.  The main buildings are modern and spacious, making it an uplifting place to study.
