Edward Atkins
BArch (Hons) Architecture

Why did you decide to study this course?
Architecture was something I was always interested in; I like the combination of creativity and technical aspects which come together when designing a building.

What projects are you working on at the moment?
I'm currently doing a proposal for a new building within Nottingham; comprising of a series of spaces for civic functions.  The proposal explores the relationship between architecture and the public.

What do you think of Nottingham?
I really like the city. It's very student orientated and the nightlife is amazing. There is always something to do here.

What do you hope to do after you graduate?
I'm hoping to get a job in architecture for a year before returning to university to complete my RIBA part II. I think NTU is a great university to study Architecture.  Throughout the time I've been here the course has constantly improved and the new facilities are amazing.
