Position: Designer
What did you most enjoy about the course?
The encouragement we gained to understand how Interior Architecture can be bigger than just a space. We learned that it may be a given space you are designing, with a specific intent, but you are designing a brand, that can be taken through all aspects of its realisation. Its brand communication, its visual appeal, the environment and sound you wish to create through to how the space may uniquely function to set it apart from its peers.
What projects have you been involved in at Benoy?
I have worked primarily as a concept designer on a mix of design projects from city master plans, hotels and residential to mixed use retail destinations.
How does your current role utilise skills you learnt during your time at NTU?
My current role requires me to specifically develop unique ways to do something that can be done ordinarily somewhere else. NTU helped me develop an understanding of the process involved in thinking about something new.
