What did you most enjoy about Interior Architecture and Design?
I initially thought of studying architecture and then thought I would enjoy interior architecture as the course seemed more creative and suited my skills. I enjoyed learning the different skills such as perspective and technical drawing, which gives you the grounding for projects and the placement year. Having a year working in industry is great as it lets you put these skills to the test in a working environment.
What have been your roles since graduation?
I worked at FITCH during my placement year and was offered the role of Junior Designer when I graduated. I've been working at FITCH since; we work on mainly retail spaces, also collaborating with the FITCH offices globally from time to time. FITCH aims to influence the world around us by translating brand into consumer experience.
How did you find studying at NTU?
The University is known for being creative and I lived with students from other creative courses which was good. There is plenty to get involved with socially and I enjoyed being in Nottingham as a city.
