Why did you choose to study Interior Architecture and Design?
I’d always had a big interest in creating change and altering space, which I could explore with this course. The year in industry through the work placement was also a big feature as it develops invaluable skills that set you up for future careers. There’s a really friendly vibe about NTU and Nottingham, which helped me make my decision.

Would you recommend NTU and your course?
I definitely would recommend my course at NTU. It is a really exciting time for students; there are new facilities in the recently renovated Newton/Arkwright buildings for us to use along with the workshop and resources all within a stone’s throw of each other. There’s never a dull moment!

What did you get involved in with your placement at Dalziel and Pow?
I worked across a range of different projects including 2D and 3D visualising, concept development, meetings with clients and spatial planning. The satisfaction of being part of an influential interior design company and having the chance to work with important clients will be invaluable for my final year. The pay days were a highlight too!
