Scholarships

Civil engineering students are eligible to apply for several external scholarships to help fund their studies.

Quest

The Institute of Civil Engineers (ICE) offer the Queen's Jubilee Scholarship Trust (QUEST) which was established in 1977 with the aim of fostering and developing education within civil engineering.

The ICE explains how the scholarship works:

"QUEST supports civil engineering undergraduates as well as members of the ICE who wish to foster their professional development by means of travel or continued study in civil engineering.

"QUEST attracts an excellent standard of applicant and the selection process is highly competitive to ensure that the reputation of QUEST remains associated with respect and excellence within the industry.

"QUEST now operates in partnership with prominent civil engineering and construction based companies who offer scholars the opportunity to undertake work placements during the summer holidays during study."

To apply for an undergraduate scholarship, of up to £3,000 per year, you must have received a conditional offer for an ICE accredited civil engineering.
