"I have really enjoyed my first two years at NTU. The diversity of the course and the support available is really motivating and provides a firm base for a good education. I feel I have picked up a lot from the surveying modules throughout my time at NTU.
"Nottingham really is a great city. It has a very vibrant atmosphere and has everything you could ask for in a relatively small area. The University’s location is just perfect due to its proximity to all of Nottingham’s shops, amenities and nightlife.
"I have learned and experienced a vast amount on placement! After about six weeks, the engineer I was working with was relocated at another site in Leeds, leaving me as Site Engineer. It was a huge step up and led to greater responsibility. It has been hard work, although I am glad it has happened in this way. I have been exposed to much more than I had expected due to this. However, I have learnt so much."
