What is the best thing about studying at NTU?
NTU is a brilliant university with plenty of facilities. The library is very convenient and open 24 hours a day which really helps when deadlines are approaching. The fabulous workshops and the excellent technicians ensure that design ideas can become reality.

What do you enjoy about your Product Design course?
The course really gets your mind and imagination going. It improves your existing skills, gives you a whole host of new computer software skills but also develops your drawing skills. The course teaches about the world that designers are designing for as well as emphasising the importance of design history.

Where are you at the moment?
I am currently on exchange at Harbin Engineering University in China. I have had the opportunity to attend a summer school on sustainable design and renewable ocean energy and I have worked with one of my tutors on a project to produce a six metre lacquer painting for a hotel. China is recognised as an emerging country for design and development and it has been great to investigate the cutting-edge technology available in factories here.
