Our undergraduate Product Design courses offer you the opportunity to investigate design in international context. Whether you choose to go on a European study trip, study aboard or complete your placement year overseas there will be no shortage of inspiration.
Trips
Second year students on all three undergraduate Product Design courses have the opportunity to examine design culture in a European city. In recent years students have visited Berlin, Prague, Barcelona and Paris.
Exchange opportunities
Engineering University College of Copenhagen, Denmark
Once you have completed your second year you have the opportunity to get involved in a 15-week project or design semester in Copenhagen. Students who take this exchange become part of a team made up of students form all over the world, working on a choice of industry based projects.
