Jeremy Robert Metcalfe
BSc (Hons) Property Finance and Investment

What attracted you to Property Finance and Investment?
The course provides an excellent platform to enter the property and/or financial sector.  The Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors (RICS) accreditation attracted me to the course as it shows the course is respected and valued by professionals.  Furthermore, the vocational elements of study helped in my decision as they give you the practical skills and the underpinning knowledge you need to be successful surveyor.

What do you think of NTU's facilities?
Nottingham Trent University is an excellent institution in which to study.  The union provides great opportunities for extra curricular activity and with the re-opening of the Newton and Arkwright Buildings along with the Boots Library, the facilities are second to none.  If you are moving away from home for the first time, I think Nottingham is a great choice. It has excellent transport links and a thriving student community.  With everything you need within a 15-minute walk it's the ideal city to study in

Would you recommend NTU to prospective students?
I would certainly recommend Nottingham Trent University.  There is a good mix of students from all backgrounds, the city campus and proximity of halls of residence make for easy studying. The Built Environment staff are not just academics, but also industry professionals, so they give you a real insight not only in theory but in practice.
