Why did you choose this course?
I decided at a very young age that commercial property was the career for me and after attending an open day I immediately fell in love with the NTU.  I remember liking how tightly clustered the City site was with a tramline running straight through the middle, making everything easily accessible.  The course was extremely interesting and informative, covering a broad range of all real estate aspects.  Lecturers within the built environment were always at hand to help out!

What did you do during your placement year?
During my sandwich year I worked for Cushman & Wakefield at their Prague Office where I valued some of Europe’s most spectacular schemes, notably Shopping Centre Sud in Vienna, Europe’s largest shopping centre.

What are you doing at the moment and what does it involve?
After graduating with a first- class honours I gained a job at Mayfairbased Scarborough Group International, one of the UK's leading property development, investment and leisure companies.  I am currently managing a portfolio of 40 UK commercial properties from Exeter up to Inverness dealing with everyday property management, lettings, rent reviews and lease renewals.
