Sponsorship

When a company has a really successful placement they don't want to loose the student – or the investment they have made in them. It is increasingly common for companies to sponsor students through their final year with an offer of a job guaranteed on graduation.

Students on property and construction courses also have the opportunity to complete their course part-time over two years, enabling them to continue working full-time.

Collaborative project and consultancy

We encourage companies to view each course as a resource for innovation and development. This can be in the form of short conceptual projects, larger final year projects or consultancy services by the course team.

We are also happy to collaborate on projects ranging from one day to six weeks, and it is often the case that students are selected for placement on their performance on a project previously arranged with the University in the students' second year of study.

Many companies have benefited from projects in the second year resulting in full size prototypes, concept development, product simulation and visualisation.
