Creachair Forest Set

The Creachair Forest Set creates an ideal learning space within Early Years curricular classrooms. The pop-up room divider provides an enclosed stimulating environment for children to engage themselves within their favourite storybooks and even re-enact them through role-play. Made from rotation moulded plastic and ash parts, the set of three Creachairs offer fun seating to inspire further imagination.

Mod-Seat

The Mod-Seat is modular public seating for an airport terminal waiting area. The project was focused on improving the comfort, style, luggage and personal space for the passengers using it. The modular aspect was to ensure the seating was suitable for various airports. A range has been developed for other public locations.

Glow Buddies are a set of four child night lights that hang on door handles. They keep children safe and feeling comforted during the night. It can also be carried as a torch and hung on cots as a night light for younger children. They are inductively charged on a docking station so electrics are contained making them safer.

Rework

Rework is a desk created for the domestic office environment. The tubular steel frame travels through the Formica top to allow the user to customise their workstation to their own tastes. With numerous accessories available to suit different types of worker. Part of the desk is detachable to allow the user’s work to flow around the home and away from the constraints of a traditional office desk.

The mild steel wire frame construction comes in a range of colour options which provide accents to any environment. Complimented by a Beech centre or top, the range is designed to cater to any type of lighting and furniture arrangement.

Bin Buddies

Designed for children up to the age of seven, Bin Buddies are a set of three recycling bins for use in schools that aim to educate and encourage children to reuse and recycle. Inspired by anthropomorphism, the Bin Buddies’ inviting characteristics give the children confidence to engage in the recycling of classroom waste. The rotation moulded bins are assisted by a collection of playful and informative cards.

The upholstered cushions along with the surrounding chunky knit blankets that roll effortlessly into comfortable cushions are made entirely from wool products. These combined with an FSC approved american walnut, makes this chair 100% sustainable.

Revival

Revival is a domestic upholstered sofa, reminiscent of 1960s furniture design. A high end product constructed from American White Oak, Glacier White Corian and upholstered in real leather with contrasting top-stitching. The single seat and back cushions incorporate an off centre stitch line detail to encourage the users to sit closer together.

Caf merges the language of utilitarian school chairs with café culture. Made from powder coated steel the chair is strong, lightweight and stackable. The subtly shaped seat and backrest envelope the body, alluring you to stay exactly where you are as the world goes by. This chair is suitable for both indoor and outdoor use, and is equally suitable for the cafe as it is at home.

Blow

Blow is a response to the flagging cork industry since the increase of synthetic bottle tops. By taking the idea of the bottle stopper, and using cork’s natural characteristics such as heat and fire resistance, the outcome is a beautiful range of uplighters for the domestic environment. The bases were mould-blown by traditional antique glassmakers.

Inherit is a writing desk that takes influence from traditional desk designs. Concerned with longevity, Inherit embraces a utilitarian functionality that is descriptive of the most simple of ergonomic requirements. Inherit has a small sculpted dip in the writing surface to hold personal artefacts and a conveniently positioned drawer that blends into the frame.

Biobox is a fully biodegradable compost caddy made from an organic composite. It is 100% natural and quickly breaks down in soil. It is manufactured using minimal amounts of energy and composed of agricultural waste material. The lids are impregnated with carefully selected seed varieties enabling you to grow flowers and food from the Biobox. This encourages product interaction and healthy eating.

Handmade from reclaimed copper and brass, the design and form of the product can be adjusted to suit the needs and tastes of the consumer. Based on the theme of natural forms, these influences can be seen throughout both the project and final product outcome.

This chair (left) explores the use of decorative metalwork in furniture-making. The frame and woodwork is designed as such, that the metalwork sits flush with the surface of the wood, making a detail of the structural elements and offering a visual and tactile contrast to the user.

Unorthodox

A sideboard from the range ‘Unorthodox’. The range itself is aimed to suit the commerical market. Inspiration for the design intially came from 1960’s furniture, but with an up-to-date style with today’s current furniture fashions. Its produced from American White Oak and finished with Satin White door and drawer fronts which feature an asymmetrical recessed handle.

Shy Light

Shy Light is a modern corner postioned floor light that can maneuver via a counterlever. The floor light was designed to fill empty corners and provide adequate ambient lighting for any room. The light is made up of several machining and manufacturing processes, such as metal spinning. It is finished in Satin Black with a Satin White inner for the shade, and completed with a designer cable.

Hyde

Hyde is inspired by the traditional writing desk whilst being accessible for todays user. The rear triangular form houses removable, customisable storage containers, with a central channel for cable management. The sleek angular stance is comforted with softened features for a welcoming presence. Hyde was driven by proving adaptable to the users needs, becoming personal and natural to use.

Chaffinch nest of tables

A chaffinch collects twigs to make its nest. This nest is also made from collected material. The table tops use the waste material from turning the legs to create an organic composite. Using flour as a binding agent creates a greener product than traditional chipboard. Simple manufacturing technique enables the creation of the board on the same site as the waste is generated

Corona

I designed 2 lightings which have the beauty and some dramatic effects of the moon. A user can rotate Corona’s each ring to change its shape and the amount of light. When it is flat, there’s less light coming out, and by spinning the rings and giving them more space to spread, more light comes out from LEDs. Lunar looks like a shape of eclipse, and at another time, it looks like a shape of the full moon.

These are Multi-functional stools that boast functions such as a magazine rack, a coffee table, a side table and a bench. These unique stools have 2 different units that can combine together. A user can combine and rotate them for different usage. Both sides of the stools were made with an acrylic so that the users can enjoy the clean top when they use this product as a coffee table.
