Short courses

Within the School of Architecture, Design and the Built Environment, we offer a range of short courses available for professionals looking to gain further qualifications (Continuing Professional Development) to enhance their career.

Lean project management workshops

We will be offering a series of two-day workshops that explore and introduce concepts in lean project management. These workshops are recommended for construction industry personnel from:

• construction companies
• client organisations
• design consultancies.

The Last Planner® System (LPS) training in these workshops will be delivered by trainers accredited by:

• the Lean Construction Institute
• LPS developers and owners of the trade mark.

All three workshops give you the option to gain credit towards an MSc course in the School of Architecture, Design and the Built Environment. 

Each workshop will be delivered over two non-consecutive days.  You must complete part of A of each workshop before progressing to part B. To progress to workshop three, you must complete both workshop one and two first.
