Study Abroad is a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to immerse yourself in British culture and education.  If you're attending a college or university outside the UK, you can apply to spend part of your studies on one of our Art, Design and the Built Environment undergraduate courses.

You'll find it a rewarding and invaluable experience and have the opportunity to:

  • Explore Nottingham and the UK to broaden your international outlook.
  • Join in with student excursions to places of special interest around the UK.
  • Learn from UK practitioners who will help you engage with new ways of working.
  • Work with processes and resources that you might not have access to elsewhere.
  • Integrate with NTU students and follow the same curriculum of lectures, coursework and technical workshops.
  • Receive support and guidance to ensure you leave with new skills and innovative work.

You will normally join the second year of an undergraduate course.* Because of this you must have completed at least one year of study in the same, or very similar, subject.

Studying at NTU may feel quite different from home and that is why Study Abroad is so special.  You will find you have more time to explore your subject independently and research them in greater detail. There will be the opportunity to challenge and debate your ideas with fellow students and lecturers which will build a new level of confidence.

Upon completing your studies at NTU you will have a new network of friends and practitioners and an experience of the UK to be envied.

* Our BA (Hons) Fashion Design course has Year One entry only.
