Events

The conference, jointly organised by Nottingham Trent University, Harbin Engineering University (HEU) and Harbin Institute of Technology (HIT), will cover the following topics. They are:

• product design, industrial design and engineering design
• architecture, built environment, construction and civil engineering
• sustainable development, low carbon technology, sustainable production and renewable energy
• CAD / CAM / CAE
• manufacturing technologies, production and control
• materials
• others related to design and manufacturing.

The well-established conference, which has been running since 2006, will aim to provide a platform for researchers, academics and industrialists to share their up-to-date findings and achievements in the fields of design and manufacture. It will also identify the new technology requirements, needs and priorities in those fields.

• Deadline for abstract submission: 15 December 2012
• Deadline for full paper submission: 20 February 2013
• Notification of acceptance of full papers: 1 May 2013
• Deadline for final papers: 1 June 2013
• Papers to be published online: 30 July 2013
