The School of Architecture, Design and the Built Environment hosts a variety of events that are representative of the diversity and broad range of knowledge housed within our School.

Our Schools, Colleges and Community Outreach (SCCO) team regularly put on free workshops and events for pre and post 16 pupils. Visit the SCCO website for more details.

Visiting Professor, Glenn Ballard, is co-founder and research director of the Lean Construction Institute (LCI). The institute is a non-profit organisation dedicated to applying Lean theory, principles and techniques to create a new form of project management to design and build capital facilities. Glenn will be talking about Lean management and how it can have a positive impact on business, in particular the construction industry.
