Annual graduation ceremony to honour Malaysian graduates
More than 100 graduates from KBU International College are to have their hard work rewarded at Nottingham Trent University's annual graduation ceremony in Malaysia on Sunday (August 29). The college, which is a partner institute of Nottingham Trent University, has seen thousands of Malaysian students progress into a range of exciting and rewarding careers as a result of the longstanding collaboration.
The event, being held at the One World Hotel, will see students graduating with degrees in graphic design, interior architecture and design and software engineering. Student of the Year awards are being presented to Fong Wai Meng (GD) Yap May Yee (IAD) and Lim Juh Jou (SE).
The graduating students will be joined by the Vice-Chancellor of Nottingham Trent University, Professor Neil Gorman, its Registrar, Mr David Samson, and the Principal of the KBU International College, Dr See Hoon Peow.
Wong Choon Wai, who is graduating with a first class honours degree in interior architecture and design, will deliver the vote of thanks.
David Samson said: "Once again it is a great pleasure to be able to attend this celebration of the work of our international graduands in Malaysia. My thanks to Mr Liew Wai Fan, the Registrar at KBU International College, and his team for their invaluable support in organising the event."
