Research, scholarly and professional interests
Roma’s research interests lies within the areas of scenography, site-specific theatre, artistic interventions, digital art, computer visualisation and interactive design. Her projects have focused on the potential of digital technology within scenography and performance.
Sponsors and collaborators
2003 to 2004, London International Festival of Theatre in association with the London Science Museum’s Dana Centre, for The Living Image project. This involved research and the development of a virtual-reality installation exploring the concept of urban London through our memories and fantasies of city life. Roma was the curator and a collaborating artist on this project. The work included collaboration with two other artists, Trudi Entwistle, Graham Nicholls, to create the final installation which was reviewed by the BBC News Online.
Information for prospective research students
Roma is interested in projects that cover the areas of cross disciplinary arts, scenography, site-specific theatre and performance and digital arts and real-time visualisation.
