Designing and teaching screenwriting courses to undergraduates, running and teaching scriptwriting at MA level, supervising MA and BA creative writing dissertations in prose fiction and script, and teaching critical theory to undergraduates.

Research, scholarly and professional interests

Georgina writes for and about performance: film, radio and theatre. She has also made short films, script edits and translates films and plays from French and Spanish.

  • 2002, Judges' Mention for Short White Pleated at the Turin Gay and Lesbian Film Festival
  • Georgina also worked with Scriptnet's and the British Council's Reel Peace initiative in Freetown, Sierra Leone in 2005

Information for prospective research students

Georgina’s main interest of supervision is prose fiction, screenplay and projects investigating visual narratives. She has also supervised an MPhil about Non-Aristotelian Structure in Film
