Katie Head is Programme Leader and Admissions Tutor for the MA in English Language Teaching. Her specialist interests are teacher education and learner autonomy.
She has an MA in Teaching English as a Foreign Language (TEFL), an M.Phil in Linguistics and an UCLES Diploma in Language Teaching Management. She is an active member of IATEFL, and a former coordinator of the Teacher Development Special Interest group of IATEFL. From 2008 to 2011 she has taught for half the year in Libya, under the collaborative agreement between Nottingham Trent University and Misurata University to provide an MA ELT programme for Libyan teachers.
