Overview

Jill Morris is a Senior Lecturer in English as a Foreign Language (EFL) and Subject leader for University Language Programme (ULP) English. As a teacher trainer, she coordinates the short professional development courses for international language teachers and is part of the team responsible for English to Speakers of Other Languages (TESOL) courses at the University. Jill teaches on the Pronunciation, Teacher Education and Young Learners’ modules on the MA English Language Training (ELT) programme. 

After working as a Drama and English specialist and Speech and Voice trainer, she spent many years teaching both adults and young learners in Italy, before returning to England to further her studies. She is a qualified teacher, both at secondary and primary level, and in 1998 was awarded the Cambridge Certificate in English Language Teaching to Young Learners. She has the Cambridge Diploma in English Language Teaching to Adults and an MA in ELT.
