Overview
Georgia Wilkes is a Lecturer/Senior Lecturer in English as a Foreign Language (EFL) and Deputy Programme Leader for the Pre-sessional and In-sessional English for Academic Purposes programmes. Prior to joining NTU, she worked in Italy for three years teaching Business and General English and ran summer language programmes in the UK. As a fully qualified Drama-therapist, she worked for many years with people requiring additional educational support. She also supported people with mental health problems within educational and clinical settings and ran in-house corporate training workshops on stress and pressure. She has a first degree in Drama, a Postgraduate Diploma in Drama-therapy, a Certificate in English Language Teaching to Adults (CELTA) and a Diploma in English Language Teaching to Adults (DELTA).
