Funding for research projects is available from the University and through external sources such as research councils, government agencies, charities and industry.

Research bursaries

In addition to this competition, many of the Schools within the University may offer their own bursaries for research students, either on a fees-only basis or with a tax free maintenance allowance. In general, only Home / EU fees are offered and international students would be required to pay the difference between International and Home fees.
