Mentoring the next generation

NTU launches mentoring scheme

A property mentoring scheme for undergraduate and Masters students has been launched at Nottingham Trent University with the help of alumni working in the real estate industry. The scheme, launched in September 2011, has 25 students who have been teamed up with their mentors who work in a wide range of disciplines both in the UK and abroad. Many of the students have already had a chance to meet their mentors in person, which has been invaluable for both parties.

The initial response for the scheme was very positive and students have appreciated the targeted and frank advice our alumni have been offering. The scheme already has a further 25 willing mentors signed up for the next academic year when it will be rolled out to even more students.

If there are any potential property mentors who would like to get involved, please email Rebecca Goodall MRICS for more information.
