About the course

The LLB (Hons) degree is a Qualifying Law Degree for professional purposes, allowing you to go on to further training to become a solicitor or barrister, or into a wide range of careers in industry and the public services. It is studied over three years and designed to provide you with exciting options and opportunities in your second year. 

In the second year you choose between two pathways. On the year-long pathway you study in-depth legal modules covering a range of key skills including negotiation, mooting and professional advice. On the alternative half-way pathway you combine the study of core modules in the first half of the year with opportunities for overseas study, work experience and business related modules in the second half of the year.*
