Course contentThe course consists of six modules:
AssessmentThese are modular in design via a combination of coursework and/or open book assessments.
Resources and facilitiesIn addition to having well-equipped facilities for lectures and seminar classes, the department has computers with specialist software, which are linked to the University network.
Special benefitsThe curriculum design and educational basis of delivery provides students with the opportunity to continue their studies further. The environmental management module is studied and assessed at masters level.
Careers in Safety, Health and Environmental ManagementThis course is fully accredited by the Institution of Occupational Safety and Health (IOSH), allowing successful students to apply for Graduate membership.
Furthermore, completion of the environmental management module allows students to apply for associate membership of IEMA (Institute of Environmental Management and Assessment).
This course does not currently offer placements.
