eSkills internships
Many students enjoy the challenge of arranging their own work placement or a practical internship which forms part of many of our undergraduate and postgraduate courses. It can give you invaluable insight into applying for a job, undertaking practical and theoretical application tests and experiencing what a real job interview is like. Computing and Technology placement students have the opportunity to undertake an eSkills internship. This is an industry-backed student placement programme which is designed to boost the employability of graduates. Find out more about the scheme.

Placements on this course
After the second year you will have the option of a placement in industry. If taken, this will give you the chance to gain vital experience and put your knowledge into practice.
The School has developed strong links with industry and commerce through its placements activities. Placements are coordinated by the placements tutor who advises students on the preparation of application and interview techniques.
Recent placement salaries ranged from £12,000 to £35,000 per annum and a number of positions are available in Europe and worldwide as well as the UK. On completion of a successful placement, you will be eligible for the award of a Placement Diploma in Industrial Studies.
