Pharmacology: Learning Beyond Registration

 

This online module can be studied on its own as a CPD module or as part of MSc Biomedical Science by Flexible Learning. The main aims of this module are to develop an understanding of the interactions of drugs with macromolecules (e.g. receptors and ion channels); modern molecular techniques used in pharmacology; and drug discovery / development.

The main aims of this module are to develop an understanding of the interactions of: 

  • drugs with macromolecules (e.g. receptors and ion channels)
  • modern molecular techniques used in pharmacology and drug discovery or development. 

The aim throughout will be to integrate data from classical pharmacology and molecular pharmacology approaches.
