The Centre for Broadcasting and Journalism is at the very forefront of journalism education. It is nationally recognised as a leader in journalism courses and offers practical programmes in print and broadcast.
Based in state-of-the-art, purpose built premises, our facilities include the largest student newsroom in the country providing an outstanding learning environment.
This open day will be running from 10 am - 4 pm and will allow you to:
- Look round our state-of-the-art facilities
- Explore our professional standard TV and radio studios
- Speak to our experienced team about our range of exciting postgraduate courses.
The open day will cover the following MA / PG Dip courses;
- TV Journalism
- Radio Journalism
- Newspaper Journalism.
Registration is from 10 am in the Centre for Broadcasting and Journalism, Chaucer Building, City campus
The event schedule is;
- 10.00am – 11.00am Registration
- 11.00am Welcome Talk
- 11.30am Facilities Tour
- 1.00pm – 2.00pm Subject Talks.
Academic staff will be available from 10am - 4pm.
