Our work focuses on the development of non-invasive imaging and spectroscopic techniques for art conservation, archaeology and art history
The group has built a strong team of experts in Lace History and Contemporary Creative Practice able to deliver innovative cross-disciplinary research, which informs design education and teaching locally, nationally and internationally.
With the portable optical coherence tomography and magnetic resonance imaging instruments available at NTU, we will be able to non-invasively image the surface and subsurface of a rock art panel and measure the vulnerability of the rock art monuments.
