Our research groups and centres are a communications catalyst for activity of hundreds of academic staff members. The groups and centres encourage exploration, enquiry and collaboration between staff and students. More than 70 research groups and centres work across the nine Academic Schools with an aim to shape lives and society.

This is the one NBS research group that is explicitly transnational in nature. As such, whilst all of its members carry out explicitly international or development-related research, several are also members of one of the other research groups.
The CRRE recovers and studies the work of labouring-class writers of the eighteenth and nineteenth centuries, including John Clare, Robert Bloomfield and Henry Kirke White.

This archive houses a collection of over 1000 letters and documents pertaining to the poet and author. It is the largest collection of material relating to Laura (Riding) Jackson outside of Cornell University.
