The iSmart research group brings together expertise and facilities across a range of science and engineering disciplines to provide an extensive toolbox for collaborative research opportunities aligned to the needs of industry.
Dr Nicholas Midgley has recently undertaken research, jointly with Dr Steve Coulson at the University Centre in Svalbard, on glacier mice in Iceland.
As part of our research and community impact programme the English team is centrally involved in developing both these one-name societies.
