Our research groups and centres are a communications catalyst for activity of hundreds of academic staff members. The groups and centres encourage exploration, enquiry and collaboration between staff and students. The mission of the Centre is to pursue and encourage innovative scholarship in the fields of in criminal law, criminal justice, international humanitarian law, human rights, conflict resolution and post-conflict justice.
The group has built a strong team of experts in Lace History and Contemporary Creative Practice able to deliver innovative cross-disciplinary research, which informs design education and teaching locally, nationally and internationally.
This project examines why young people appear to be increasingly disillusioned with politics in Britain. It is based on a national survey of over a thousand British 18 year olds conducted in 2011, as well as the findings from fourteen focus groups.
