Phil Banyard is Reader in Psychology and has responsibilities in teaching, administration and research.
Phil Banyard is responsible for the provision of first year laboratory studies and also the introductory modules for undergraduates. His ongoing involvement with psychology in the school sector allows him to respond to students issues around the transition between school and university.
In administration Phil Banyard leads on widening participation and organizes events for teachers and A-Level students. He also contributes to the general management of the Division of Psychology.
Phil Banyard is an active researcher and is leading on the submission of colleagues from the College of Business Law and Social Science who are being submitted to the Pedagogy Unit of Assessment in the 2014 REF. He sits on a range of research committees.
