Wildlife and Environmental Conservation

Our students are committed to the sustained management, development and conservation of the natural world.

With increasing pressure on natural resources, wildlife and habitats we aim to equip students with the scientific knowledge, practical skills and enthusiasm to make a difference.

Our rural setting lends itself to being an ideal environment for students to study areas like surveying, ecology, animal behaviour and environmental monitoring - not only in the classroom - but also out in the field.

Professional training (postgraduate study)
We offer flexible postgraduate courses that can be split into modules or full masters study.

Conservation degrees and access courses
We offer three degrees including foundation and full-honours, enabling students to the choice of focusing more on environmental or wildlife issues. We also provide the practical countryside management course as an access route in higher education.
