Postgraduate bursaries and discounts 

£1,000 bursaries

Applicants for full-time, taught postgraduate degrees (MSc / MRes) in the School of Animal, Rural and Environmental Sciences, including recent graduates from NTU, can apply for a bursary in the form of a £1,000 fee reduction. All bursaries are competitive and are assessed on the overall quality of your application, including academic merit and your personal statement.

To be considered for this award you must:

  • have achieved the minimum entry requirements for your chosen course
  • be a Home/EU applicant
  • apply and be accepted onto a postgraduate course in the School of Animal, Rural and Environmental Sciences for 2016/17 by 1 July 2016
  • complete the bursary application form Word icon and email it to us by 1 July 2016.

Applicants will be assessed on their academic merit and the relevance of the statement on their application form. Please note the terms and conditions Word icon .

Alumni Loyalty Scheme - 25% fee discount

You are eligible to receive a 25% fee discount if you have studied a full-time or part-time undergraduate, postgraduate or professional course at NTU (on the City site, Clifton campus or Brackenhurst campus) and graduated at any time after 1 July 2011. You must have been offered a place on a master's course within the School of Animal, Rural and Environmental Sciences starting in October 2016.

You do not need to apply for the discount as it will automatically be deducted from your fee before enrolment. Please note the terms and conditions Word icon .

Undergraduate and Postgraduate International scholarships

The University offers a wide range of scholarships to international students applicable to certain countries or regions of the world. 

International applicants for the School of Animal, Rural and Environmental Sciences, including recent graduates from NTU, can apply for a scholarship according to the individual scholarship terms and conditions. All scholarships are competitive and are assessed on the overall quality of your application, including academic merit and your personal statement.
