Scholarships and funding
The School is offering scholarships to students wishing to study for a full-time, taught postgraduate degree in 2013/14.
Please read the information below to see if you may be eligible for a scholarship.
Postgraduate scholarships
Applicants for a postgraduate programme in the School of Animal, Rural and Environmental Sciences including recent graduates from NTU can apply for a scholarship in the form of a full fee reduction. All scholarships are competitive and are assessed on the overall quality of your application including academic merit and personal statement.
To be considered for this award you must:
- have achieved the minimum entry requirements for your chosen course
- be a Home/ EU applicant
- apply for your 2013/14 postgraduate course by 1 July 2013 and be accepted onto the course.
- complete the scholarship application form
and email it to us by 1 July 2013.
Applicants will be assessed on their academic merit and the relevance of the statement on their scholarship application form.
Please note:
- each applicant is eligible for only one award.
- these awards are open to Home / EU and International applicants.
- only self-funded students are eligible to apply for these scholarships.
- successful scholarship applicants will be informed after the closing dates.

International postgraduate scholarships
The University offers a wide range of postgraduate scholarships to international students applicable to certain countries or regions of the world.
Applicants for a postgraduate programme in the School of Animal, Rural and Environmental Sciences including recent graduates from NTU can apply for a scholarship in the form of a £5000 fee reduction. All scholarships are competitive and are assessed on the overall quality of your application including academic merit and personal statement.
To be considered for this award you must:
- have achieved the minimum entry requirements for your chosen course
- be an International applicant
- apply for your 2013/14 postgraduate course by 1 July 2013 and are accepted onto the course.
- complete the scholarship application form
and email it to us by 1 July 2013.
Applicants will be assessed on their academic merit and the relevance of the statement on their scholarship application form.
Scholarships for partner international institutions
The School offers a number of postgraduate scholarships to graduates from our international partner institutions. All scholarships are competitive and are assessed on the overall quality of your application including academic merit and personal statement.
We are pleased to offer the following opportunities for the 2013 / 14 academic year:
National Pingtung University of Science and Technology (NPUST), Taiwan – Full scholarship / postgraduate fee reduction.
