Scholarships and funding

The School is offering scholarships to students wishing to study for a full-time, taught postgraduate degree in 2012/13.

Please read the information below to see if you may be eligible for a scholarship.

Postgraduate scholarships*
Applicants for a postgraduate programme in the School of Animal, Rural and Environmental Sciences including recent graduates from NTU can apply for a scholarship in the form of a £1000 fee reduction. All scholarships are competitive and are assessed on the overall quality of your application including academic merit and personal statement.

To be considered for this award you must:

• have achieved a minimum of a 2.2 honours degree (or equivalent for international applicants).
• apply for your 2012/13 postgraduate course by 1 July 2012 and are accepted onto the course.
• complete the scholarship application form and email it to us by 1 July 2012.

Applicants will be assessed on their academic merit and the relevance of the statement on their scholarship application form.

• each applicant is eligible for only one award.
• these awards are open to Home / EU and International applicants.
• only self-funded students are eligible to apply for these scholarships.

International postgraduate scholarships

Scholarships for partner international institutions
The School offers a number of postgraduate scholarships to graduates from our international partner institutions. All scholarships are competitive and are assessed on the overall quality of your application including academic merit and personal statement.

We are pleased to offer the following opportunities for the 2012 / 13 academic year:

• National Pingtung University of Science and Technology (NPUST), Taiwan – Full scholarship / postgraduate fee reduction. Please note: there are a limited number of scholarships available. Please see full terms and conditions.
  
• University of Guelph, Canada - £3000 postgraduate fee reduction. Please note: there are a limited number of scholarships available. Please see full terms and conditions
