Veterinary nursing centre

The RCVS accredited Veterinary Nursing Centre is a purpose-built simulated veterinary practice, giving FdSc Veterinary Nursing students a real-life feel to their studies.

Students are supported by our excellent, fully qualified veterinary nursing teaching staff as well as a fully qualified veterinary surgeon at all times during their course.

While on their placements in one of our 34 associated veterinary training practices, students are exposed to all situations with patients and their owners.

The Veterinary Nursing Centre works alongside the Animal Unit on campus. It provides our veterinary nursing students plenty of hands-on experience with a diverse range of small and companion animals, as well as larger species such as horses and goats.
