Brackenhurst campus

The School of Animal, Rural and Environmental Sciences is based at Brackenhurst, our stunning 200 hectare estate in rural Nottinghamshire. NTU has an excellent reputation for land-based courses, giving students a unique learning experience.

The campus is located near Southwell, a market town just outside Nottingham with good public transport links to Nottingham’s busy and vibrant city centre.

Our rural setting, specialist courses and friendly, dedicated staff create an atmosphere which generations of students have appreciated. In recent years the population has more than doubled to over 1000 full and part-time students on campus during the year.

Brackenhurst is comprised of landscaped gardens, a farm, woodland and streams and students have access on site to the library, careers service, computing resources, student bar, shop and café.
