How to apply: BA courses

You should apply for all our undergraduate Art and Design courses through UCAS.

Before you submit your UCAS applicants please check you meet the course entry requirements, these can be found through our course search

How we assess applicants
For all the School's practice-based courses selection is based initially on UCAS form then, where applicable, a work submission, interview and portfolio.

Interview and portfolio advice

For applicants who live in the UK you may be asked to attend an interview and bring your portfolio to the University for us to look at.  Not all courses require a portfolio (see the admissions guidance document above) and / or an interview.

Work Submissions

For applicants who live outside the UK we don't expect you to attend an interview or send us your full portfolio through the post. Instead once you've applied to us, if you meet the minimum entry requirements for the course, we'll ask you to make an online work submission.

Please do not send any work submissions to us before you receive a request from our admissions team.
