Hello, I am Nik Walker and I would like to help make starting at NTU as easy as possible for you. When you arrive at NTU I am here to offer advice and guidance and answer any questions you may have. I can help with lots of areas, including the following.

Your essentials when starting at NTU

I will be available to help you with everything you need to do when starting your studies here. For example, I can:

• Let you know when and how to pay your tuition fees.
• Explain .
• Give you details of how to get your student Smartcard.
• Explain the University's online NOW system and how you can access your timetable.
• Provide you with a campus map.
• Give you information about the NTU health centre on campus and the 24-hour National Health Service walk-in centre.

We also have a dedicated site to help you .

Other services and support

I can tell you where to find other services and sources of support, including:

• Student Support Services
• the Accommodation Office.

Living in Nottingham

I can also:

• Give you information about realistic living costs.
• Explain how to open an English Bank account.
• Introduce you to Nottingham and its areas of interest, theatres, restaurants, shopping centres and banks.

Once you arrive at NTU I will also be your main contact within the School of Art and Design for any general issues that may arise while you are studying here.
