Pre-sessional English for Academic Purposes (PEAP) courses

If you are applying for one of our courses as an overseas student and English is not your first language, you must meet our English language requirements.

Tier 4
If you are from a country outside the EEA (European Economic Area) it is assumed that you will need to apply for a Tier 4 via to study in the UK.

Non-Tier 4

If you don't have the English language requirements needed, we offer a range of Pre-sessional English for Academic Purposes (PEAP) courses that will help you to improve your language skills.

These courses are six to thirty weeks long, depending on your current language level.  Even if you have achieved the level needed for the course you want to apply for, we highly recommended our six week PEAP course.  This will help prepare you for study and teach you skills that you'll find useful when you start your course.
