Boningtons Art Shop
Boningtons specialist art shop is based in the Bonington building on our City site. Run by experienced and friendly permanent University staff, the shop stocks a wide variety of arts and crafts materials including:
- specialist pens and pencils
- sketchbooks and notebooks
- technical drawing equipment
- camera and camcorder film
- blank CDs and DVDs
- foam board
- paper and card
- greeting cards
- sewing and embroidery thread
- dye
- paints
- drawing and painting inks
- fabric
- portfolio cases.
The shop responds to the requirements of both our staff and students, and the stock on offer grows each year to support the various courses offered within the School of Art & Design, and the School of Architecture, Design and the Built Environment.
Term-time opening hours
The shop is open regularly during University term-time to students, staff and members of the general public.
- Monday: 9 am - 5 pm
- Tuesday: 9 am - 5 pm
- Wednesday: 9 am - 3.30 pm
- Thursday: 9 am - 5 pm
- Friday: 9.30 am - 3.30 pm
- Saturday: Closed
- Sunday: Closed
Summer closing dates
Boningtons will close at 3.30 pm on Friday 8 June for a stock take, reopening on Monday 25th June and opening times will be 9.30 am - 3.30 pm.
The shop will close for the summer on Friday 13 July at 3.30 pm, opening for the autumn term on Monday 24 September.
