The School is based in three different buildings on the City site.
Bonington building: a purpose-built centre for creativity
Bonington has recently benefited from a multimillion pound facilities upgrade, and was officially opened by Nottingham fashion designer, Sir Paul Smith.

Waverley building: a restored, listed building with true design heritage
Home to the very first Nottingham School of Art and Design in 1843, the Waverley building has been fully upgraded as part of an ongoing regeneration plan.

Maudslay building: a design-focused centre for industry and technology
We have recently upgraded to incorporate real-life, industry standard design facilities and modern working studio environments.
- Product and furniture workshop; wood synthetics and metal fabrication facilities
- Spacious design studios and working display areas
- Large IT learning unit, with computer-aided design (CAD) suite
- Location of designated placement office support unit for all courses
- The Hive: business incubator unit for NTU students
