We provide high quality training courses on an in-house basis to law firms and those associated with the legal profession. All our Law courses qualify for CPD with the Solicitors Regulation Authority.

The Centre for Legal Research was established in 1996, mainly to provide a focus for externally funded research, and also to support the School's commitment to improving its RAE (Research Assessment Exercise) return, having been rated a '4' in the 2001 RAE.

Nottingham Law School has established a Legal Advice Clinic to provide a free initial advice and referral service to the local community. Law students, supervised by qualified lawyers, are available to offer advice and assistance on a wide range of legal problems.

Nottingham Law School's relationship with law firms doesn't end with the LPC. The Professional Division help design and deliver a number of firm specific postgraduate qualifications for both national and international law firms.
