Centres for Excellence in Teaching and Learning (CETLs)
74 HEFCE-funded Centres for Excellence in Teaching and Learning (CETLs) were launched in January 2005. Nottingham Trent University is the home for one and a partner in another:
Centre for Effective Learning in Science (CELS) CELS is one of only half a dozen CETLs with a science theme and the only one dealing with both traditional ‘core’ sciences
of chemistry, biosciences and physics, and the emerging interdisciplinary sciences such as forensic science and sport science.
